Interested in joining the PMIA Board?

The PMIA is looking for new Board Members to join us as we continue to grow and improve Philipse Manor! Five Member-seats are up for re-election this year. If you know of a motivated neighbor who has some extra energy to devote to Philipse Manor please consider nominating them for a Board position. Or, if you are interested in maintaining and improving our community, consider submitting yourself or reaching out to any of our current Board Members for more information.

how much time will i need to commit?

The minimum time commitment for a Board Member is approximately 3 hours per month, which includes an hourly Zoom meeting each month.

What areas can you get involved with?

Communications Committee - Are you active on social media or have an interest in journalism? The Communications Committee is responsible for disseminating information about happenings in the Manor through the publication of our quarterly newsletter, posting content via our social media platforms and email distributions to members.

Membership Committee - Do you enjoy getting to know your neighbors? The Membership Committee is focused on growing our membership and contacting new residents in the Manor.

Events Committee - Do you like throwing a party? The Events Commitee plans key community events during the year including the New Resident welcome party at the Beach Club, 4th of July Bbq, Halloween Ragamuffin parade and more.

Maintenance Committee - Interested in managing operations and interacting with the Village and greater neighborhood? The Maintenance Committee is tasked with ensuring our neighborhood stays beautiful, that streets are kept safe for kids and families, and managing the PMIA’s parking lot and waterfront property.
